GOLDEN YEAR

The 2012 is considered to Majd as the GOLDEN Year of success and achievements. During it the followings were achieved :

With the beginning of the year on January 7,2012 Majd was honored by H.E. General Michel Suleiman President of Republic of Lebanon by awarding her the Golden Shield of the Republic for her outstanding work in both human and Arts fields.

In March 2012, Majd was honored by Beatitude Patriarch Beshara Al Ra'i by awarding her a Medal in recognition of her humanity work.

Did many charity works through “La majd 7 Arts” association for humanitarian social work that cares for Orphans and Children with Special Needs.
a) Gallery and workshop for orphans in one of the poorer schools in India.
b) Two programs for the care of children in Lebanon and other local contributions.

Participated in the World's exhibition “Exposition Cercle de Lorraine – Bruxelles” 2012 Brussels – Belgium.

Represented Lebanon at a conference ~ the impact of terrorism on development ~ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia hosted by the League of Arab States. Participated in Elite World Expo Art from various countries around the world at the Grand Palais (EXHIBITION in PARIS GRAND PALAIS).

The CROWN OF HONORS ..."Icon of the Annunciation"

Majd wrote the "Icon of the Annunciation" and presented it to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI in the name of Christians and Muslims youth of Lebanon during His Holiness visit to Lebanon September 2012. The "Icon of the Annunciation" is placed in Vatican and Majd Ramadan was awarded with H.H. Medal and appreciation letter from Vatican.

Artiste libanaise né à Qatar dessine le classique, le surréaliste et l'impressionniste.
Détient un baccalauréat en informatique ..... Et un diplôme de l'Académie  de Michel-Ange des arts beaux.
Membre de l'assocaition des arts plastics à Qatar.
Participé à plusieurs expositions au Liban et à l'étranger.
Peint, les murailles murs de plusieurs églises au Liban et le monde arabe.
Recu plusieures prix d'honneur et des médailles d'or pour ses chef-deuvre.
Honoré par Cardinal Patriarche Mar Nasrllah Boutros Sfeir à Bkerké pour ses peintures murales de l'église de Marcherbl à Amman - Jordanie

Majd Ramadan, the famous mural artist, who decorated with her paintbrush the walls of churches and contributed to the deepening of the dialogue between religions.
A Lebanese artist born in Qatar, painted Classics, Surrealist and Impressionist.
She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and a diploma from the Academy of Michel Angelo for Fine Arts.
Mrs.Ramadan is a member of the Qatar Society of Plastic Artists.
She participated in several exhibitions in Lebanon and abroad.
She painted murals in some churches in Lebanon and the Arab world.
She received many certificates of appreciation and honor as well as gold medals for her work.
She was honored by Cardinal Patriarch Mar Nasrllah Boutros Sfeir in Bkirki for her mural paintings in  Mar-Charbel Church in Amman - Jordan.
She is the artist who wrote the ICON and present it to His Holiness the POPE..The ICON is self explanatory of correlation between religions Islam & Christianity.
